Wolfsburg have acquired the services of the German international Max Kruse on a four-year deal from Bundesliga rivals Borussia Monchengladbach, the club have announced on Twitter.

The Wolves have met the terms of a £9million buyout clause in his contract, although the transfer fee have not been revealed.
Wolfsburg, who secured a Champions League group stage on Sunday, have boosted their frontline for the coming season by signing the 27-year-old striker from Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Kruse has scored 23 goals for Gladbach in 64 Bundesliga appearances since he joined the club 2013.
