Report: Klopp to LFC almost done

Liverpool FC are hoping to appoint Jurgen Klopp as their new manager by the end of the week and he is expected to sign a three-year contract with the Reds by this weekend according to BBC Sport.

Former Borussia Dortmund manager has asked to bring in Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz as assistants to Anfield, a move which in itself shows the 48-year-old German is open to becoming Brendan Rodgers’ successor.

Liverpool sacked Rodgers on Sunday after a draw with Everton, which left the club with just three league wins from eight games.

If Klopp is appointed by Friday, he will have seven days to prepare for the club’s first game of the season against Spurs after the international break.

Now It appears, the Reds are ‘all in’ on securing Klopp as their next head coach, and are not holding talks with anybody else.

Klopp led BVB to two Bundesliga titles during his seven years of career.
