Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal is considering a bid for AS Monaco defender Fabinho, according to Italian outlet Calcio Mercato.
The Brazil international, who already earned three caps for his nation – joined the Ligue 1 outfit over the summer after spending two successful seasons on loan at the Stade Louis II.
The 21-year-old’s performances in Europe have caught the attention of the Dutchman – LVG, who is reportedly lining up a bid for the Brazilian.
However, the Premier League club could face a stiff competition for his signature from the Italian giants Inter Milan, the report adds.
Fabinho has previously spent time on loan with the Spanish club Real Madrid and was part of Dunga’s 23-man squad for the recent 2015 Copa America in Chile.
