Manchester United have confirmed the signing of Real Madrid winger Angel di Maria for a British record £59.7m transfer fee, the Red Devils have announced the deal on their official Twitter page.

The Argentine international has been heavily linked with a move to the 20-time English champions for a couple of months, but has now finally completed his move to Old Trafford on a five-year deal, keeping him at the club until 2019.
Di Maria, 26, joined Los Blancos from Benfica in 2010, has scored 36 goals in 190 appearances for the club over the last five season and helping the club to win the Champions League and Copa del Rey last term.
