Former Chelsea left back has signed a two year deal with Serie A side AS Roma after becoming a free agent this summer, the club have officially announced on Twitter.

During his eight very successful years with the Blues, the 33-year-old defender won one Premier League title, one Champions League title, one Europa League title and four FA Cups.
The former England international, who was released by the Stamford Bridge club at the end of last season – has chosen to switch to the Italian giants, despite getting number of offers from Premier League and in Europe.
