Chelsea have agreed a deal to sign Swiss champions Basel midfielder Mohamed Salah, which is believed to be valued in the region of £11million, according to the club official website Chelseafc.com.
The 21-year-old is yet to complete a medical exam and agree personal terms in order to move to Stamford Bridge.
The Egypt international is capable of playing various modes of attacking roles, has captured attentions of top premier league clubs following his impressive displays in this year’s Champions League and last year Europa League.
Salah will become Mourinho third signing of January transfer window after Bertrand Traore and Nemanja Matic.
Stats (Swiss Super League) – Salah scored twenty goals in 78 appearances since he joined Basel in 2012.
