The Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema has responded to his Premier League suitors by claiming that he remains committed to the Bernabeu club, according to Goal.
The 27-year-old striker had been heavily linked with a move to the Gunners this summer, while Real’s president Florentino Perez stated that the Old Trafford club had enquired about Benzema’s availability.

Nevertheless, the French superstar, who joined the Los Blancos from Ligue 1 outfit Lyon in 2009 – remained at the Spanish capital after conclusion of the transfer window. He has insisted that leaving the club is not his intention.
Speaking to Telefoot (via Goal), Benzema said: “There was nothing in the talk of a transfer away from Madrid. I’m happy at my current club, it’s the best in the world. I’ll continue to work here and be happy where I am.”
