Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane has committed his long-term future with the reigning European champions by signing a new six-year deal, that will keep him at the Bernabeu until 2020.
The 21-year-old was rumoured to be linked with a possible move to Premier League club Chelsea during the summer, but the centre-back has decided to stay at the Spanish capital until 2020.

The Frenchman joined Real Madrid from Lille back in 2011, has won Champions League title, La Liga, European Super Cup, Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup.
Varane has scored four goals in 74 appearances for the La Liga giant over the past four seasons.
