The Champions League winners Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of Colombian star James Rodriguez on a six-year deal.

The 23-year-old midfielder has signed for Real Madrid for a reported £63m, he becomes the Los Blancos’ latest summer acquisition – following the arrival of German star Toni Kroos from Bayern Munich.
He will wear No10 shirt in the Spanish capital and join the star players with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema to provide an immense attacking threat line-ups.
The playmaker has scored six goals for his country in the summer’s World Cup and won the tournament’s Golden Boot award with his impressive performance.
Rodriguez scored nine goals and provided 12 assists for Monaco last season.
