Chelsea are reportedly interested in signing the CSKA Moscow striker Seydou Doumbia in January, according to the Daily Star.
The 26-year-old recently showed his heroics performance against the Manchester City in the Champions League at the Etihad last Wednesday, where he scored twice in CSKA’s 2-1 win over the Citizens.
The Ivorian hit-man has won 21 caps for his country, who is keen on a move to Stamford Bridge despite the breakdown of talks in the summer, although the report claims that the striker is now available at a cut-price deal for just £15 million due to his several injuries.
Doumbia has scored 16 goals in 18 games for the Moscow club this season and has also attracted interest from Liverpool.
