Manchester United have reportedly launched a club-record £60m bid for Bayern Munich superstar Thomas Muller, according to German daily Bild.

The German international has been linked with the Red Devils all summer, with the English club rumoured to have had two previous bids rejected.
However, Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has denied the speculation linking Muller with a move to Old Trafford last month, while the 25-year-old forward has downplayed reports that he could leave the Bavarians.
United boss Louis van Gaal is desperate trying to snap up Muller in order to add more strike-force to his squad, having let both Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie leave Old Trafford this summer.
Manchester United’s current record signing is Angel Di Maria, who joined the club from Real Madrid in 2014 for £59.7m.
