Liverpool are reportedly preparing a summer move for Barcelona’s Cristian Tello, according to reports from The Metro.
The report claims that the La Liga giants have given Liverpool the green signal to move for the Spaniard this summer as he has failed to make the regular starting line-up for Barca and also had major fallout with manager Tata Martino.
The Reds have been tracking the 22-year-old over the course of the past two years, but they’ve been unable to acquire his services neither on a permanent or loan basis and now the report claims that the Merseysiders are preparing another push this summer for his signature.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is a huge fan of the youngster and he is likely to sign Tello in the range of £8m that will boost the Reds’ strength as they prepare for Champions League next season.
