Liverpool Eye Hull City Keeper Konstantinos Tzolakis as Alisson Becker Successor

Reds Monitoring £40m-Rated Greek Goalkeeper

Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a summer 2027 move for Hull City goalkeeper Konstantinos Tzolakis, with Tottenham Hotspur also said to be interested, according to Caught Offside.

The Tigers have made an impressive return to the top flight, conceding just twice in their opening five Premier League matches. That form has attracted attention from bigger clubs, and Hull reportedly value the Greece international at £40million.

Why Liverpool Need a Long-Term Goalkeeper

Alisson Becker is 34, and Anfield chiefs are understood to be planning for life after the Brazilian. Giorgi Mamardashvili has yet to convince as a ready-made number one, leaving the position a potential priority in the coming windows.

Hull are reportedly resigned to losing key players if their strong displays continue, which could open the door to a deal.

Liverpool vs Tottenham: Who Has the Edge?

In our view, Liverpool look better placed to land Tzolakis. They offer a clearer route to regular first-team football, whereas Spurs already have Antonin Kinsky, who has replaced Guglielmo Vicario as their first choice. Liverpool also have a stronger chance of Champions League football next season, which may appeal to the player.

Tzolakis Profile: Strengths and Experience

Standing at 6ft 4in, the 23-year-old commands his area well, deals confidently with crosses and is comfortable sweeping up behind his defence. His time at Olympiacos has given him valuable top-level experience at a young age.

We believe he would be an excellent addition at Anfield and a credible long-term heir to Alisson, provided Hull’s asking price does not climb significantly should his impressive form continue.
