Liverpool have confirmed the signing of Southampton midfielder Adam Lallana to Anfield, the Merseyside club announced the news via their official Twitter account.

According to the Independent, the Reds have completed the £25m signing of the England international, who has expressed his happiness after completing his move to the Anfield.
“I’m so excited for the next chapter of my career, coming to a special club like Liverpool. I’m quite humbled and I just can’t wait to get started,” Lallana said.
The 26-year-old midfielder will wear No 20 at Anfield, he becomes Liverpool’s third summer acquisition after the arrival of Rickie Lambert from Southampton and Bayer Leverkusen’s Emre Can.
Lallana has made 265 appearances, scoring 60 goals over the past nine years for the Saints. Following with his stellar performance last term, he earned a place in the Team of the Year 2013-14.
