Liverpool are reportedly close to make a deal to sign Mainz 05 goalkeeper Loris Karius, according to Sky Sport.
The German shot-stopper has been strongly linked with a move to the English Premier League, with Liverpool’s rivals Everton also said to be interested in Karius’s services.
The Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is desperate to lure a new keeper to Anfield in order to give competition to the Merseysiders’ first-choice Simon Mignolet.
