Liverpool ace Jordan Henderson signs new £25m deal until 2020

Liverpool vice-captain Jordan Henderson has committed his future by signing a new five-year contract at Anfield worth over £100,000 a week.

The England midfielder’s new long-term contract will keep at Liverpool until the summer of 2020.

Henderson, 24, is the latest big name in Brendan Rodgers’ squad to commit his long-term future to the Merseyside club following the renewals of Daniel Sturridge and Philippe Coutinho.

The Reds are also likely to renew terms with Martin Skrtel this summer, and will resume negotiations talks with Raheem Sterling at the end of this season.

Henderson has scored 20 goals in 180 appearances since joining the Reds from Sunderland in June 2011.
