Report from the Daily Express claim that Premier League leaders Chelsea are weighing up a £48m January move for Liverpool star Raheem Sterling.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is desperately looking to launch a sensational bid for the 19-year-old midfielder in order to bring some of the best English talents to Stamford Bridge, and Sterling is said to be interested open to a move away from Merseyside.
The England international has been a stunning form for the Reds over the past few months – becoming one of the club’s most important players at an incredibly young age. He has scored three goals in five league appearances this season.
Meanwhile, European heavyweights – Real Madrid and Paris St-Germain are also said to be interested in Sterling’s signature.
