Barca keen on Wolfsburg’s Kevin de Bruyne

Wolfsburg midfielder Kevin de Bruyne, who has earned 30 caps for Belgium, is believed to be a target for Barcelona this summer with the Spanish giants keen to bolster their squad ahead of next season, as per Tuttomercatoweb.

The report claims If the Catalan club were to sign the Belgian international, the La Liga outfit would plan to loan him back to Wolfsburg.

The 23-year-old, who has been sensational for Dieter Hecking’s side this season, has helped the club to secure second spot in the Bundesliga after scoring 10 goals in 30 appearances.

De Bruyne began his career at Belgian outfit Genk before being captured by the Premier League champions Chelsea in 2012. But he failed to make an impact at the Stamford Bridge and was sent on loan to Werder Bremen.

In 2014, he was sold to Wolfsburg, where he has scored 18 goals in 61 games.
