Tottenham Hotspur Target Salzburg Sensation Nene Dorgeles

Tottenham Hotspur are stepping up their summer recruitment drive and have set their sights on Red Bull Salzburg’s exciting talent, Nene Dorgeles, according to TEAMtalk.

The 22-year-old Malian forward burst onto the scene with Salzburg after several loan spells, enjoying a breakout 2023/24 season. Dorgeles netted 13 goals and delivered four assists in 30 Austrian Bundesliga matches—catching the eye of top European clubs.

Spurs have been closely monitoring the attacker and are now reportedly ready to pounce. Salzburg, known for nurturing and selling young talent, are prepared to do business for a fee of around £17 million, with Dorgeles under contract until 2028.

However, Tottenham face strong competition from Bayer Leverkusen, Freiburg, Lazio, and Fiorentina, all of whom are also tracking the versatile forward.

A Perfect Fit Under Thomas Frank?

As Spurs edge closer to appointing Thomas Frank as their new manager, the potential signing of Dorgeles feels like a natural fit. The Brentford boss has a proven record of developing young attackers—Ollie Watkins, Ivan Toney, and Bryan Mbeumo among them.

Dorgeles, a right-footed winger who can also operate centrally, combines blistering pace, dribbling finesse, and sharp vision with relentless work rate off the ball—exactly the profile Tottenham favour.

With youth, versatility, and star potential on his side, Nene Dorgeles could be a smart long-term investment for Spurs—if they can beat the competition to his signature.
