Serie A champions Juventus have reportedly stepped up their interest to launch £15m bid for out-of-favor Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri, according to Goal.com.
The 23-year-old winger has been repeatedly linked with a move away from the Bavarians due to his unhappiness to a lack of playing time at the Allianz Arena.
It is understood that the Swiss international is desperate to get more regular playing time elsewhere and he is pushing himself for a move away in January transfer window.
The report suggests that the Bianconeri are willing to pay £4m to sign Shaqiri on loan next month, before making a final deal of £11m to secure his services on a permanent basis.
Shaqiri’s current deal with the German champions expires at the end of next season.
