West Ham United are reportedly targeting Bayern Munich right-back Sacha Boey in a potential bargain deal that could transform their defensive options this January.
The 25-year-old French defender has struggled to establish himself at the Allianz Arena since his £26m move from Galatasaray in January 2024. Persistent injuries have restricted him to just 37 appearances, with limited game time even when fit – managing only 462 Bundesliga minutes across nine matches this season.
According to German publication TZ, Bayern are now willing to slash their asking price to just £15m as they look to fund their pursuit of Feyenoord’s Givairo Read. This represents a significant opportunity for the Hammers to secure a player who impressed during his time in Turkey, winning back-to-back Süper Lig titles with Galatasaray.
