With the 2016/17 English Premier League season fast approaching next month, clubs are continuing to do well in the transfer window in order to bolster their respective squads.
The Blues had a disastrous campaign last term, in which they finished 31 points behind the champions Leicester City.
The west London outfit made their first summer signing, by recruiting Michy Batshuayi from Marseille, while Leicester’s N’Golo Kante followed on Saturday noon.
The Frenchman might not be the only player, who arrived the Stamford Bridge from King Power Stadium this summer, with the Daily Express reporting that Chelsea are also keeping a tab on a move for PFA Player of the Year Riyad Mahrez, who was one of the key performers last term, scoring 17 goals and in 37 league games for the Foxes.
