Tottenham Targets: Five strikers Tim Sherwood should consider this Summer

Tottenham need a new strike-force in this summer transfer window, with Roberto Soldado seems to be a big flop this season and Jermain Defoe still struggling to score more goals.

A lot of names have been rumoured in the UK’s newspaper as Spurs boss Tim Sherwood may look to change his attacking line in summer.

So here are the five strikers Tim Sherwood should consider for Tottenham this summer.

1) Loic Remy (Queens Park Rangers)

Loic Remy, who is currently serving his loan spell at Newcastle United from Championship club Queens Park Rangers.

Remy seems to be available in this summer, as QPR no longer wants to continue with the 27-year-old striker and Newcastle won’t be in a mood to agree a new loan deal with the Frenchman.

However, Remy has managed to score 19 goals in 37 Premier League appearances so far, that makes him a better Premier League goal scorer than Roberto Soldado.

2) Mame Biram Diouf (Hannover 96)

Hannover 96 chairman Tayfun Korkut has recently revealed that the club is not interested anymore in the 26-year-old, seems Diouf is the ideal option for Spurs.

The Senegal international has been in stunning form in the Bundesliga, scored 26 goals in 57 appearances to date.

3) Alvaro Morata (Real Madrid)

Alvaro Morata has recently stated his desire to leave Los Blancos, which could be the perfect fit for the Spurs.

The 21-year-old Spaniard has scored 12 goals in 13 games for his country at U21 level.

4) Bafetimbi Gomis (Lyon)

Bafetimbi Gomis has revealed that he won’t renew his contract to stay at Lyon. Therefore, the Frenchman will be available on a free transfer this summer.

The 28-year-old powerful striker has still managed to score a goal in every 2 games for Lyon this season, he may fit into Spurs attacking line-up with his consistent performance.

5) Javier Hernandez (Manchester United)

Due to lack of opportunity, it is unlikely the Mexican – Javier Hernandez will stay at Manchester United beyond the summer.

The 25-year-old Hernandez could be available in less than £15m this summer.
