Reports: Arsenal keen on Liverpool’s Raheem Sterling

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is reportedly plotting a sensational summer move for Liverpool midfielder Raheem Sterling, according to The Mirror.

The Jamaican-born England international, whose contract negotiations with the Mersysiders have on hold recently, with the 20 year old believed to have turned down a mammoth £180,000-a-week contract to remain at Anfield.

Wenger is a long-term admirer of the attacker and will take an advantage of Sterling’s current situation and hopefully table a lucrative bid to secure his services at the Emirates.

The report has also suggested that Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Manchester City are also expected to make a bid of the youngster this summer.

Sterling is considered England’s one of brightest stars during Friday’s 4-0 defeat of Lithuania, who has scored 6 goals in 28 Premier League appearances for the Reds so far this season.
