Fenerbahce have announced the signing of Manchester United winger Nani, the Turkish giants confirmed on an Instagram.
The Portugal international who joined the Red Devils back in 2007 from Sporting Lisbon has finally ended his eight-year spell at Old Trafford, after making 230 appearances in all competitions for the English club.
“I really am very happy to be here now,” the 28-year-old told to their official website. “I see this as a new opportunity in my career. This is an opportunity for me to show myself. I want to be successful.
“I’ve seen all these fans coming out for me and I was really happy. I want to show them my best football. I always do the best that I can.”
However, the midfielder struggled to make an impact under Louis van Gaal’s managerial tenure that allow him to send Nani off on loan to his former club Sporting last summer, where he scored 12 goals in 35 appearances in the Portuguese capital.
