Liverpool and Arsenal Scouting Revolution Defender
Liverpool and Arsenal are reportedly monitoring New England Revolution left-back Peyton Miller, according to TEAMtalk. The 18-year-old is said to have impressed during recent United States internationals, with scouts reportedly present under Mauricio Pochettino in September and October.

Why Liverpool Need Left-Back Cover
With Andrew Robertson gone on a free transfer, Arne Slot has Milos Kerkez and Kostas Tsimikas on the left. Kerkez impressed at Bournemouth but has yet to convince at Anfield, while Tsimikas is mainly a rotation option with his contract winding down.
Barcelona Ahead as Revolution Resist
Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City are also said to have watched him, but Barcelona are understood to have made the most progress. New England recently tied Miller to a deal until 2030 and have no desire to lose him. The player is reportedly happy developing in MLS, although a bid from a leading European club would be hard to resist.
Our Take on Arsenal and Liverpool’s Interest
Arsenal already have Piero Hincapié and Riccardo Calafiori, with Myles Lewis-Skelly able to cover despite preferring midfield, so any move would likely hinge on a departure. Miller’s versatility and potential make him an appealing long-term project, and Liverpool arguably have the greater need. Barcelona’s head start could be the biggest hurdle for both English clubs, though a January or summer approach remains plausible.
