Everton Eye Shock Move for Liverpool Starlet Ben Doak

Everton are reportedly preparing a bold move to sign Liverpool’s teenage sensation Ben Doak this summer, as per journalist Ben Jacobs.

Ambitious Plans Under the Friedkin Group

Following the Friedkin Group’s December takeover, Everton are wasting no time laying down a statement of intent. With a solid 13th-place Premier League finish under David Moyes, the club now has its sights set higher — aiming for a top-10 finish next season.

To achieve that, the Toffees are looking to add young, exciting talent — and Ben Doak tops their wishlist.

Moyes Wants Doak to Spark Everton’s Attack

Doak, a lightning-quick Scottish winger, is highly rated at Anfield but could be allowed to leave for around £30 million. Moyes is reportedly keen on the 19-year-old as he looks to inject pace and creativity into a front line that managed just 42 goals last season — the joint fourth-worst in the league.

A Fresh Look for the Toffees

The club has also opened talks with Ipswich Town’s Liam Delap, with a deal hoped to be completed before the U21 Euros. These moves underline the Friedkin Group’s strategy to lower the average age of the squad and build a dynamic, youthful core.

Doak’s Journey and Potential

Since joining Liverpool from Celtic in 2022, Doak has been turning heads. He made his debut at just 16 and has already earned six caps for Scotland. Though injuries limited his game time last season, his talent is undeniable — and Everton believe he can become a star at Goodison Park.

At £30 million, the fee might raise eyebrows, but if Doak delivers on his potential, it could prove to be a shrewd investment for the Blues.
