Biggest Summer Transfers on Deadline Day


Finally the summer transfer window has been closed on 1st September 2014 at 23:00 BST.

Here are the major confirmed signings from the transfer deadline day on September-1-2014.

Radamel Falcao joins Manchester United

Manchester United have completed the signing of Colombian striker Radamel Falcao from AS Monaco for £6m on a season-long loan with an option to buy him as a permanent deal.

Falcao, 28, has made 20 league appearances for Monaco, scoring 11 goals since his arrival from Atletico Madrid in 2013.

Danny Welbeck joins Arsenal

Arsenal have completed the signing of England striker Danny Welbeck from Manchester United for a rumoured £16m fee.

Welbeck, 23, has scored 29 goals in 142 appearances for the Red Devils over the past four seasons.

Javier Hernandez joins Real Madrid

The European champions Real Madrid have announced the signing of Mexican striker Javier Hernandez from Manchester United on a season-long loan deal with an option to make the deal permanent next summer.   

Hernandez, 26, has scored 59 goals in 154 appearances for the Red Devils over the last five seasons.

Daley Blind joins Manchester United

Manchester United have completed the signing of Dutch midfielder Daley Blind from Ajax for £14million on a four-year contract with an option for a further year.

Blind, 24, has made 44 appearances in all competition for Ajax last season.
