The west London club have now confirmed that an agreement between the Bundesliga outfit has been agreed over the transfer of the Ghana international.

The left-back spent two years with second tier club Greuther Furth, before joining Augsburg for €2.5m last summer.
He established himself as one of the highly-rated Bundesliga players in his age group last season, helping Markus Weinzierl’s side to fifth position.
Rahman becomes Chelsea’s third major recruit of the summer, following the arrival of Asmir Begovic and Radamel Falcao.
