Despite most of his 28 appearances coming as a substitute, Monga has been one of Leicester’s few bright spots in a desperately difficult season — the Foxes currently sitting rock-bottom in 23rd. He’s completing 84% of his passes, winning two-thirds of his long balls, and contributing defensively with 29 recoveries and 10 tackles. At £8m on Transfermarkt, he looks an absolute steal.
A Transfer Battle Brewing
According to TEAMtalk, United aren’t alone. Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle, Aston Villa, Brighton, Brentford, Real Madrid, Juventus, and Borussia Dortmund are all circling. Monga rebuffed Premier League interest last summer to stay at the King Power — but with Leicester staring down League One football, that loyalty may have a limit.
