Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly preparing a move for Brentford striker Igor Thiago, according to Caught Offside, with the North London club eager to bolster their attacking options.
The 24-year-old Brazilian has enjoyed a remarkable turnaround this season after an injury-ravaged debut campaign in English football. Signed from Club Brugge to replace departed talisman Ivan Toney, Thiago managed just eight Premier League appearances last term, with only one start to his name.
Fast forward to this season, and the towering forward has burst into life with seven goals in 10 appearances across all competitions. His impressive form has helped Brentford defy expectations following the summer departures of Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa, with the Bees claiming notable scalps including Manchester United, Liverpool, and Aston Villa.
