Reports: Victor Valdes refuses United offer

Former Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes, who is currently a free agent – has reportedly declined a offer to join Premier League giants Manchester United on a short-term deal, according to Spanish publication El Mundo Deportivo.

The 32-year-old shot-stopper, who has ended his 12-year stint at the Camp Nou last summer, has turned down the possibilities to join Old Trafford.

The report has suggested that the Spaniard has declined the offer from United boss Louis van Gaal.

Although, he was yesterday offered the chance to train with the Red Devils in order to complete his rehabilitation from a serious knee injury.

Valdes has been sidelined since March and has not played a game because of a knee injury.
