Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a £60million bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez after making their top summer target, according to reports from the Metro.
Suarez had been highly linked with a move to Madrid last summer, eventually the 27-year-old signed a new long term deal in December in order to fetch a £82m release clause on his contract.
However, the Spanish heavyweights are desperate to bring in a world class player in the summer transfer window, and Suarez seems to be the ideal option at Bernabeu.
Suarez has been in sensational form in this Premier League season, netted 31 goals in just 32 appearances for the Reds.
The report suggests that Real president Florentino Perez is preparing a £60million bid for the Uruguayan, before the World Cup kicks off.
It is understood, the Reds will resist any offer for their star player, but Suarez would be keen on Madrid alongside the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale. Although, £60 million is a massive amount and Suarez is certainly worth it. Let’s see if Real can land their man.
