Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly turned his attention back to the German football in order to sign Hoffenheim attacker Nadiem Amiri, according to the Calciomercato.
The 19-year-old midfielder has been sensational, created 34 chances in the Bundesliga this season and has began to attract interest from top European clubs including Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur.
Having scored four goals and provided four assists in 24 league appearances wouldn’t normally raise many eyebrows, the German playmaker has managed to impress due to his classy performances.
However, the Bundesliga outfit are keen to retain their talent rather than cash in early.
The Merseysiders are in good form and will qualify for Champions League football next season if they beat Sevilla in the Europa League final on 18th May.
