Juventus plot January move for Colombian striker Radamel Falcao

Juventus are lining up a January swoop for Manchester United’s on loan forward Radamel Falcao for their Champions League campaign, according to the Express.

The Colombian international, who joined the Red Devils from the Ligue 1 side AS Monaco on a season-long loan during the summer, has struggled to make an impact at Old Trafford – having scored just once in eight appearances so far.

The report has suggested that the Italian champions are desperate to bolster their attacking resources and likely to launch a €6m bid for the 28-year-old striker to make a six-month loan move to Turin when the transfer window re-opens in January.

Falcao, whose current contract with Monaco runs until the summer of 2018, however due to his injury concerns, the French club might sell him to recover some of his €50m transfer fee.
