Done Deal: Mohamed Salah joins Roma on loan


Chelsea have announced winger Mohamed Salah has completed his season-long loan move to Italian side AS Roma, the Premier League champions have confirmed the transfer.

The Egyptian midfielder has scored twice in 19 appearances for the Blues since joining from FC Basel in January 2014. He leaves the Stamford Bridge on loan with an option to make switch permanent.

The 23-year-old, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Fiorentina, scoring six goals in 16 Serie A appearances.

Roma have already secured Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny, while Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko is reportedly closing in on a permanent move to the Serie A club.
